Countdown to Christmas: Gift Guide for New Friends

December 11, 2018 0 Comments

Feeling super grateful as I type out this gift guide because I’ve just been reflecting on all the amazing women I’ve crossed paths with, like Andreea. I’ve gotten to meet so many people at trips, events and even while getting my hair or brows done (shoutout to Chrissy and Jessie!)

With my besties, it’s easier for me come up with their gift because I’ve know them forever! But how about the new people in your world you wanted to send a thoughtful  gift to? This is my gift guide for newer friends, hairstylists, teachers and more! 💓P.s. Everything is under $70!

MVMT’s Origin Bar Necklace (use code AMANDASTANTON for 10% off) – I loooove this from MVMT and thought it was such a cute gift when they sent it to me in the mail with Kins + Char’s names on it. It is so affordable ($50!) and I was so happy when I opened it! Perfect as a friendship necklace.

Herbivore Coconut Milk Bath Soak – When it comes to gifting beauty, I only gift what I use and I am obsessed with, so this year, I’m thinking about gifting my favorite bath soak to Kins and Char’s teachers! What a way for them to relax during winter break.

Capri Blue Candle in Volcano – I’ve loved the Volcano scent from Capri Blue for years and it’s one of my favorite things to receive and gift. They come in so many different shapes and sizes for the holidays that it works for multiple budgets. Throw in a cute card and you’re all set.

Drunk Elephant Skincare – Every time I get a chance to share this brand, I do. I genuinely love all their skincare and just want to get everyone in my world hooked on it too! Linked is their face oil which is one of my favorite products.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette – Shared in my story how much I’ve been loving this palette. This gift is definitely made more for someone who is beauty-obsessed or can even be gifted to someone who has been wanting to expand their beauty palette. Urban Decay’s shadow quality is amazing and their colors last for-EV-er. It’s fun for the amber tones, but also safe with it’s neutral tones!

Ouai – Rose Hair and Body Oil – Have been loving this so much lately, and also love the packaging of Ouai products in general. This is my favorite product from her, but I love the mini sets that they always have. This is an easy thing to gift that you know will be put into good use!

All About Face Set from Beautyblender – It is so hard for me to walk into Sephora right now without buying anything for myself. All their gift sets are such amazing deals, and I love to give gifts that I know will be super useful. I always forget that I need to change out my Beautyblender every so often, so having these on deck (and saving $$) would be so useful!

Cravings, Hungry For More by Chrissy Teigen – Because who doesn’t love Chrissy Teigen? This is useful for the non-cooker (like me) or for the decorator to just have displayed in their kitchen (also me).

Anthropologie Mugs – The holidays wouldn’t be the same if I didn’t pick up a holiday edition of the Capri Blue candles and if Anthropologie didn’t come out with their signature holiday monogram mugs. I feel like most people already have the classic mug, but does anyone have an ombre pink mug?! Anthro has such a wide and curated selection of adorable coffee/tea cups. These make for perfect gifts when because they’re gorgeous and under $20!

Weighted Blanket – Okay, so this is one of the less glamorous gifts, but also probably my favorite thing that I’m sharing right now. I posted about a weighted blanket a few months back, but I feel like they are becoming more and more popular because of their benefits. I don’t think a single person would hate this gift! It’s soft, cozy, useful and not too expensive.
